Instructions
- Slice the onion very, very thin. I used a mandolin, but if you don't have that just use a good knife and slice the onions as thin as possible. Put on a plate.
- I love using alfalfa sprouts so I put some of those on the plate with the onions to be ready to assemble.
- Toast your rolls. Using high quality bread is so important and pushes the flavors over the top! Try to use local bakery bread like ciabatta or foccacia rolls.
- Add as much turkey as you want to the bottom of the roll. Even when you think it's too much turkey - add more. See my video for assembly.
- Grab a blob of stuffing and shape it into a circular patty to fit the shape of the roll. Then place on top of turkey.
- Add your razor thin onions on top of the stuffing layer.
- Next, add the alfalfa sprouts on top of the onions.
- Carefully spoon the cranberry sauce over the sprouts.
- Add the top to the sandwich and with a good sharp knife (serrated if you have), cut the sandwich in half. Enjoy!!
