Description
My favorite balsamic vinaigrette is made from ingredients I always have on hand. It's the perfect salad topping and super easy to make.

- 1/2 clove of garlic, finely diced/minced
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste (just a pinch here)
- Small sprig of rosemary (optional)
Instructions
- Finely dice the garlic and put it in a bowl or glass jar.
- Add the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, rosemary sprig (if using). You can throw the sprig in whole or finely dice it. I've done it both ways.
- Secure lid to jar and shake until well combined. If you’re using a bowl, simply whisk the ingredients until well blended.
- Serve on your favorite salad. It’s also yummy as a chicken marinade for grilled chicken.
